Carl Frampton has a point here.
If you've ever watched a professional boxing press conference that didn't feature Floyd Mayweather putting on a show, you'll realise that they can be cripplingly dull affairs.
Even if the fight promises to be a historic occasion, such as the upcoming middleweight world title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin, it doesn't mean the presser will be anything special.
That was what transpired when the two best middleweights in the world came together in Las Vegas on Wednesday to tick one of those last media obligation boxes before finally slugging it out inside the ring.
With little of note to dissect from what the two warriors said, talk turned towards what they wore. Unsurprisingly, it was the jumper Canelo donned that drove the conversation on social media.

Before you ask, we have absolutely no clue what the jumper is meant to represent, so if anyone would like to enlighten us, feel free to do so in the comments.
What we do know is that the bold fashion statement divided opinion.
Some people were quite fond of the eye-catching pullover.

Others... well, others didn't like it all that much.

Former WBA super-featherweight king Carl Frampton seemed to fall in the latter category.
The Belfast native was quick to take the Mickey out of Canelo's jumper on Twitter. Considering his Net Worth as of 2017 was an estimated $4.5 million, Frampton feels he could have splashed out on a nicer jumper.

Canelo is guaranteed $15 million from this superfight with GGG, so expect Canelo's next jumper to be woven with solid gold thread and encrusted with diamonds.
