That's pretty much how he defeated Manny Pacquaio. He out-landed 'Pac-Man' over the course of the fight, but it was the Filipino who was throwing with more venom.

That would have been all well and good had it not been for the fact that he stared straight into the reporters' faces and admitted that he contradicts himself just seconds before making the vow.
"I'll be the first to say I can contradict myself. I may say something on Monday, I may say something different on Tuesday, but I will come on record saying I can contradict myself. I can say that."
"It is what it is. We're fighting in a boxing match, he's a stand up warrior, I'm a stand up warrior. August 26, we must get the fans excited."
That confession has us even doubting whether he was being truthful about 'it is' being 'it is'.
