After struggling slightly in the opening press conference in Los Angelas, the 28-year-old was brazen, he was cocky and he was at his confrontational best.
Floyd Mayweather's assertions that he won the battle of the second press conference are fairly unfounded, but his reason for this makes even lesser sense.
"Do you think you won round one?" asked a reporter.
"I think I won both rounds, to be honest.
"No, I'm winning. (You're saying) He took it because they (the fans) were screaming loud? That has nothing to do with it," assured the 40-year-old.
"He had a pretty good speech, though?" stated a reporter.
"Ok, tell me his speech," asked Mayweather brashly and unreasonably to a reporter who obviously wasn't going to recite a seven-minute speech.
"Well, it wasn't a good speech then."

Mayweather was never going to admit that he was beaten, but basing his triumph on a reporter remembering a seven-minute speech doesn't even make any sense.
