Throughout the more heated exchanges, the ref grimaced with every heavy punch and his eyes widened with every wild swing. The poor man looked like his heart was going to explode out of his chest during a particularly intense portion of the bout.
He looked genuinely relieved when he howled "STOP!" at the bell.
