Khan will fight Devon Alexander in Las Vegas on Saturday night

It might be the WBC Silver welterweight title but Amir Khan will enter the ring with shorts made from actual gold. Reported to cost in the region of £30,000 (€37,000) the shorts are made of white nappa leather and crocodile trim but the price is really driven up by the 24 carat gold thread used in the waistband.
