Jamie Conlan claimed the Commonwealth super-flyweight title on Saturday night after emerging the victor from one of the fights of the year.
Jamie, who's the brother of world champion and Olympic hopeful Michael, showed incredible heart and toughness to come back from being knocked down twice to score a phenomenal knockout against former champion Anthony Nelson.
The Belfast native started off strong by sending his opponent to the canvas in the opening round, but Nelson recovered and knocked him down in rounds three and seven.
Nelson stared letting his hands go in the eight round to try to finish the fight, but Conlan had other plans and dropped his opponent to the mat one last time with a crunching left haymaker to the body. He tried to get back to his feet, but was unable to make the 10 count, giving Conlan the knockout victory.
