A lot of fans are pissed off with how Dundalk’s Champions League play-off was organised

When it was announced that there would be tickets at the gate for Dundalk's Champions League play-off clash with Legia Warsaw, it should have come with a warning.

The queue to purchase tickets at the Aviva Stadium was lengthy and slow-moving due to the fact that there was a Ticketmaster system crash which, along with the bad weather, traffic and people arriving late to the stadium, causes issues for the thousands of fans who arrived to buy tickets for the 7.45 kick-off. Supporters were seen filtering into the stadium as late as thirty minutes into the game which luckily started slowly so left little to miss for the victims of some shoddy planning. And despite not missing much, fans were rightly pissed off at the organisation, or lack thereof, on what was a miserable evening to be waiting in a queue.
