For the first time since suffering a brain haemmorrhage in early May, Sir Alex Ferguson has addressed the public with a video message from the Manchester United Twitter account.
It is the first time Ferguson has been in the public eye since he suffered a life-threatening haemmorrhage in May.
In the video, he expresses his gratitude towards the medical staff who have taken care of him over the past two and a half months. He also promised to return to Old Trafford at some point during the upcoming season, and wished José Mourinho and the squad good luck.
