Ally McCoist commended the 'achievement' of Rangers reaching the semi-final of the Europa League following their 3-2 aggregate win against Braga at Ibrox.
Goals from James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe on Thursday saw the Gers overturn their 1-0 first-leg deficit to reach the last four of the competition.

Despite the result, McCoist highlighted that the game should have been finished by full-time, due to the chances Rangers created.
The former Rangers manager alluded to the electric atmosphere at Ibrox Stadium which saw the Gers reach the semi-final of the Europa League, an achievement McCoist didn't see coming so soon.
McCoist credited Rangers for their match-winning performance, despite the wasteful nature of the Gers chances.

“Kenny (Miller) and I were talking, the game should have been done at full-time. What an achievement for the club," McCoist told BT Sport.
“The stadium is going absolutely crazy. I must admit, I thought it would be a long time before this football club would be back in a European semi-final.
“Make no mistake about it, Rangers thoroughly deserved it. Apart from some poor finishing, the game probably should not have gone to extra time."
McCoist looks ahead to the semi-final.
This is the first time since 2008 Rangers have qualified for the semi-finals of a European competition. McCoist emphasised the significance of this achievement by the Gers.
Rangers face RB Leipzig on the 28th of April at the Red Bull Arena. The 59-year-old claims the Germans "will not find it easy" against Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's side.
“What an achievement for Rangers to get to a European semi-final. It’s magnificent," McCoist added.
“Leipzig will not find it easy against Rangers. I think Braga were impacted by that atmosphere tonight.”
