We can't help but feel a "super computer" could be put to better use than merely predicting the final Premier League table.
But here we are.
Last week,
talkSPORT used their "super computer" to predict what the Premier League table would look like at the end of the current season, and it was bad news for Arsenal.
The Gunners have never finished outside of the top four under Arsene Wenger. But they are predicted to finish in sixth place and miss out on qualification for the Champions League.
The computer made the calculations based on Premier League data from the first 20 games of the season.
It predicted a top four of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United. Middlesbrough, Swansea and Hull City were tipped to be relegated.

Another "super computer" has predicted the final Premier League table and it is still bad reading for Arsenal fans.
According to Professor Ian McHale and his Sports Analytics Machine, the Gunners will finish outside the top four, and they'll be joined by Manchester United in the Europa League.
McHale used his "super computer" for the
BBC, and the predictions are based on team's average performances so far.
The predictions were also based on players continuing their average performance levels. So, an injury to a key player will, of course, affect the predicted outcomes.
United have won five Premier League games in a row and are currently just three points behind fourth place Manchester City.
However, the calculations give United just a 20.3% probability of finishing in the top four, despite their upturn in form over the past month. Arsenal have a 61.5% probability of ending in the Champions League places.

Earlier this season,
a sports data company predicted the final Premier League table, and Manchester United were tipped to finish sixth.
However, the current league leaders Chelsea were tipped to finish fourth, proving we should probably take these predictions with a pinch of salt.
