There are plenty of good reasons to tune into Preston North End's matches.
The Championship outfit have hit a serious run of form this year, losing just two game so far in 2017. They lost a hard-fought FA Cup tie against Premier League outfit Arsenal and then dropped three points away to Cardiff City.
Preston have become the adopted team of many Irish soccer fans this season after signing Daryl Horgan and Andy Boyle from Dundalk in January. The former League of Ireland stars joined up with compatriots Aiden McGeady, who's on loan from Everton, Alan Browne and Greg Cunningham.
Seeing the Dundalk duo try to
ply their trade in England has piqued the interest of a lot of fans, and McGeady's
dazzling form has been a
joy to watch. If the Republic of Ireland international keeps it up, he stands a legitimate chance of being known as
the Preston Pele, vindicating FIFA's decision to put him right up there with the Brazilian legend.

Interestingly, that little Irish community the Lancashire club have been building may have just grown bigger.
Football scribe Rob Brennan confirmed that striker Callum Robinson is eligible to represent the Republic of Ireland at international level. The 22-year-old has represented England all the way up through his youth career, from u16 to u20. However, having yet to receive an senior international cap, the Ireland door remains open for him if he wants it.
