Arsene Wenger has no time for Gary Neville’s ‘fun’ approach to football

Gary Neville is picking fights all over the place.

He's hit out at Jurgen Klopp and how he's unconvinced about the German being the saviour of Liverpool FC this weekend, while he's also had several pops at Arsenal already this season. Earlier in the campaign he claimed the Gunners preparation leaves a lot to be desired  in the build-up to matches, and that Arsenal  players prefer having fun at training rather than concentrate and prepare for the opposition tactically and physically,

“I may be wrong, but I sense that Arsenal players go into training on Friday morning thinking about how they’ll pass the ball, score with a bicycle kick, how much fun they are going to have.”

We may have to wait to see what Klopp says about his criticism, but Arsene Wenger has come out swinging at the ex-Manchester United defender ahead of his team's clash with Watford this weekend. The Frenchman, who earlier this week indicated that he may be about to quit the club in 2017 at the end of his current contract, hit back at the TV pundit's barbs, and those who don't believe in his approach,

"We just turn up on Saturday, just go out and play. Honestly, I am 30 years in this job. I have a good tolerance level to sometimes listen to things that are really ridiculous. Honestly. I can do it.”

Wenger is clearly a man in a hurry to be annoyed as he's already had several digs at Jose Mourinho with the Portuguese not sparing the long-serving Arsenal manger either. We can't wait for round two.
