Bazdarevic took charge of the Bosnian team last December, and helped turn around the team's fortunes.
Bosnia had taken just two points from four games before the 55 year old arrived, but won five of their next six games, including a 2-0 win over Wales, and secured third place in Group B.
So it shouldn't be a surprise that Bazdarevic is confident of his side's ability.
"We have the capacity to eliminate the Irish. The only negative thing is that the rematch is away. I wish it was the other way around."
"The most important thing is that players are healthy in the play-off matches. I believe in these guys and I believe that we will qualify for the Euros."
The first leg is on Friday November 13th in Zenica, before the return leg in Dublin three days later.
