Burnley top Premier League’s ‘value for money’ table

Burnley will finish at the top of this season's 'value for money' table which measures average pay per player per point and cross references it with the actual amount of points that that team has received and how much they have spent during the season.

Burnley will finish the season in seventh and head into Sunday's season finale with Bournemouth with 54 points from 37 games. Burnley manager Sean Dyche was one of six managers to be nominated for the Premier League's manager of the year award. Dyche praised his players for the nomination and said that they are the people that deserve the recognition if he is to be awarded with any individual accolade. "The manager of the year can only come from the players. Without them you can’t be manager of the year," he said. "They deserve whatever comes, if anything comes."
