He might well be a Celtic player, but the 25-year-old remains a fan of Hibernian. Last weekend, Griffiths was out to see the team parade the Scottish Cup following their historic win over Rangers.

The Daily Record, the man, an in-patient at Edinburgh's St. Columba's hospice, was too unwell to attend the match at Hampden Park at the weekend, but was nevertheless delighted to have met Griffiths.
