Cristiano Ronaldo faces an uncertain future as he wants ‘to win more things’

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to win more trophies despite having been successful with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. The five-time ballon dor winner will go down as a legend since he won five Champions League trophies, seven league titles, and six domestic cups. The 37-year-old wants 'to win more things' and suggests he will retire in 'four to five years' time.

The Portuguese star wants to compete at the highest level of club and international football until he retires. Ronaldo says intelligence is vital when having a long illustrious career. His understanding of the game has allowed him to develop his game throughout his career.

Talking to DAZN, Ronaldo said: "It's hard to say that I don't want more, because if I'm at a club that gives me the opportunity to win more things, why not?"

"And in the national team too. I know I don't have many years left playing, four or five more, we'll see. I want to win more things."

"You have to be intelligent and know that at 18, 20, or 25 you are not the same as at 35. And that is the maturity, the experience, the intelligence to understand that maybe you lose some things to win others and have the right balance to continue competing and be at the highest level."

Ronaldo faces the recent criticism.

Talk began of Ronaldo beginning to decline as he went goalless run of six games. This was his longest stretch without a goal since 2008.

This season, Ronaldo has scored 15 goals for Man United in 29 games in all competitions. The striker feels he is not past his best despite being 37-years-old.
