A two-game ban has also been issued to Jones, whose offence was considered more egregious than that of the Dutchman.
Jones will now miss the Uefa Super Cup match against Real Madrid next week as well as United's first Champions League group game in September.
There has been no suggestion that either player was guilty of doping but, rather, both were just overly keen on joining their teammates for the celebrations.
