Diogo Jota out for up to two months with injury, Jurgen Klopp confirms

The injury was sustained in Liverpool's Champions League draw against Midtjylland

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that forward Diogo Jota could miss up to eight weeks with an injury ahead of the champions' Premier League match with Fulham. Jota, who has been ridiculously good for Klopp's side since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer transfer window, suffered a knee injury midweek during Liverpool's Champions League draw with Midtjylland.

"It’s worse than we first thought but better than we then thought," he stated. "The potential surgeons had a look but no surgery necessary. He will be out for a while, one-and-a-half to two months, we don’t know exactly. It’s pretty similar with Kostas Tsimikas. Unbelievable."
