The Galway stopper is on loan at Pompey from Millwall and has played every game in League Two so far. It's thought that the idea of allowing him to return to his club is to ensure he maintains his starting place, with Portsmouth playing two league games - one on Tuesday night and one on Saturday - in the time of the international break.
So Dundalk's number one Gary Rogers has been given the call-up to the national squad again.

The 34-year-old is still uncapped with his country but could feature at some stage during Wednesday's game with Oman although Darren Randolph and Keiren Westwood will be ahead of him in the pecking order.
