Emmanuel Adebayor spills the beans on his departure from Spurs

The FA Cup returns this weekend, with Crystal Palace facing a tricky tie away at Tottenham.

The fixture will see Emmanuel Adebayor first return to White Hart Lane since leaving Spurs, and the 31-year-old has been spilling the beans on his relationships with former manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy. The Togolese striker spoke in glowing terms about his former manager, and respected his honesty when the time came to leave the club.   "Our relationship was beautiful. I think we have a very good relationship, man to man," he said, as reported by The Sun. "We always talked and he told me 'Manny I don't count on you anymore' which I understand. "I realised my time was over at Tottenham and that I had to move on." While he appeared to depart White Hart Lane on good terms with Pochettino, it seems the same can't be said when it comes to Adebayor's relationship with Levy. "Obviously with the club itself I didn't have a good relationship and with the chairman because - and you know Daniel Levy better than I do - he makes everything complicated."
