They didn't do anything wrong, they just sent them on a copy of their initial tweet which announced the squad in the most annoying way possible. But they did interact with a Twitter account called 'up the ira' whose location is set at IRA.
There's not a lot of activity on the page, it was only founded in May after all, presumably just today just to troll the English account but it seems to be a pro IRA page anyway and England were somehow baited into a thread with it before they took action and deleted their tweet.
After England deleted their tweet, the account reverted to having no tweets sent out to its legion of followers.
They also changed their name to Glasgow Celtic along with the profile picture and cover photo.
So the fun was over for everyone who saw the funny side of England being drawn into a conversation like this on Twitter.
