Priorities. Always priorities.
An
Everton fan went viral following Tuesday night's round of Premier League fixtures after he was pictured dropping a child after he saw an opportunity to grab
Anthony Gordon's match shirt. Footy fan first, parent second.
Standing pitch-side after the Toffees 1-1 draw with
Leeds away at Elland Road, the fan can be seen allowing his young son to run onto the pitch as he sprints towards the 21-year-old goalscorer.
However, the little lad doesn't make it far as he is quickly swept up by stewards in a no-nonsense fashion and as Gordon goes over to resolve the situation and embrace the fan, the fan then lets go of the boy as he goes to grab the player's shirt.

As you can see, despite one of the stewards helping pick the young punter back up, the man becomes incensed and begins shouting expletives as he is held back by surrounding fans.
Despite having looked surprised by their abruptness with the small child moments earlier, Gordon also helps pick the boy back up before ultimately walking away from the situation. While some were concerned for the kid and shocked by the fan's behaviour, we're happy to report that he's obviously fine — in fact, more than fine: he just got a match-worn Anthony Gordon shirt.

Anthony Gordon remains on Chelsea's radar
The local lad, who played for both
Liverpool and Everton during his youth career, has found himself on the watchlist of a number of clubs — none more so than Chelsea, who have reportedly
offered around £60 million for him. There has even been
talk of a swap deal plus cash which would see youngster Armando Broja and fellow England prospect Conor Gallagher make way.
On the other hand, with time ticking down to the transfer deadline ticking, it looks like he won't be getting a move as manager
Frank Lampard insisted he is simply "too important" to be let go. Nevertheless, the interest only seems to have benefitted his performances as he started of the move for the opening goal and netted it on the night, his second of the season.
