Is he more staying or more gone?
Man United fans were chuffed to bits when they signed Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton for £24m just under a year ago. The French international had proved himself to be one of the Premier League's most commanding midfielders in the 2014/15 season, and looked to be a fine addition to the Old Trafford squad.
But the last 12 months haven't been the best of the 26-year-old's career. Louis van Gaal never really gave the player a prolonged run in the side, despite the cold hard facts showing that the team performed better when he was in the team.

In spite of the fact that they're yet to see the very best of him, Schneiderlin remains a firm favourite amongst United fans, who spent the season imploring their former Dutch manager to select him on a regular basis.
He didn't - preferring Marouane Fellaini - and it ultimately cost him a place in the France squad for Euro 2016. But now it seems that he is destined for a fresh start at Everton, where former manager Ronald Koeman is sitting on an apparent treasure chest.

It is rumoured that new United manager Jose Mourinho has other priorities in midfield, and that Schneiderlin may therefore be surplus to requirements.
The Mirror report that Everton are prepared to offer up to £20m for the player's services, whilst reliable Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf (with close links to Koeman) claim Schneiderlin is open to joining his former boss at Goodison Park.
It is enough to have Toffees fans licking their collective lips at securing a player who until recently was a regular starter in the France national side.
