Rob Green has had a weirder career than most.
The former England goalkeeper has the capacity for fantastic saves, but to say he 'has an error in him' would be an understatement.
Green is now at Leeds United, and feels like he has been pictured with his head in his hands more than any other player.
For his latest trick, Green took his time eyeing up a long, hopeful punt from Newcastle United's Jack Colback.
Backtracking towards his own net, Green weighed up his two options - try to catch the ball or palm it over the bar - and went for number three: pat it out to Championship top scorer Dwight Gayle about a yard from an essentially empty net.

It was vintage Green, and the internet, being the internet, was far from forgiving.

If you think Green does this thing more than most, you would be right.

Green's error set Newcastle on their way for a 2-0 victory, their eighth in a row in the Championship, with Gayle clinching the win after half-time.
The result leaves Rafa Benitez's team five points clear at the top of the league and nine points ahead of third-placed Reading after 17 matches.
