Manchester United breezed through to the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, seeing off Reading 4-0 at Old Trafford.
Most of the headlines were made by Wayne Rooney, who equalled Sir Bobby Charlton's goalscoring record at United when he opened the scoring early on.
A good day for the United skipper, although things had appeared to end on a slightly sour note when Reading's George Evans - who began his career with Manchester City -
appeared to reject Rooney's offer to swap shirts.

The footage was widely circulated across social media after the game, with City supporters taking great delight in Evans' supposed snub.
Hours on though, Evans has clarified what actually happened. Tweeting a picture of the shirt in which Rooney broke his record in, he confirms that the brief conversation he had with him at full-time was simply to arrange to switch shirts in the tunnel.
Explaining that it was a disappointing afternoon for all associated with Reading, he also congratulates Rooney on his milestone goal.

The win for United continues an impressive run. They will now face Hull City in the League Cup semi-final in midweek before returning to Premier League action when Liverpool visit Old Trafford on January 15.
