The German captain has been banished to the reserves by Jose Mourinho and is expected to depart the club but not at the expense of his dignity. Not at the expense of his class.
It's been a tough summer for the Bayern Munich legend, expelled to the background, forced to watch on as the new manager assembles a new team. And persists with Marouane Fellaini.
