The former Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur star, picked up the Man of the Match award after the game, and speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor vented his frustrations at this decision.
"I thought he was the worst player on the pitch for Wales. One hundred percent, he couldn't do anything right the whole game, he popped up - what he does- with big moments, big goals, but every time he got the ball he was given it away. "He was giving it away, and he had to chase back, and to be fair to him, even when he was giving it away he was chasing it back to win it back."Nothing was going right for him. I don't know how he got Man of the Match because I thought there was so many better players. "There were so many better performances for Wales than Gareth Bale, but because he scored it's like 'alright, Man of the Match', no way he should have been man of the match. https://twitter.com/talkSPORT/status/1594971445670465538?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1594971445670465538%7Ctwgr%5E6a631a6c3d5db422e1b51bf424f1be60f3ef4711%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fportal.24liveblog.com%2F%2Fevent%2F3189913748912584622%2Fnews%2Fadd "He's got to up his game for the next two games in the group, because I thought he was poor. "I stand by my comments, I don't think any of the Wales squad get into England's best 30 players." Related links:
