Gabby Agbonlahor tears into Gareth Bale's performance against USA, as Wales manage to escape the game with a draw thanks to a late penalty. It was Bale who won and converted the spot kick that ensured that the Welsh would get something from the game as it finished 1-1. However, former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor, who has been very critical of the Wales panel, claiming that none of them would make the England squad, has now turned his attention to the team's skipper. The former Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur star, picked up the Man of the Match award after the game, and speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor vented his frustrations at this decision.

"I thought he was the worst player on the pitch for Wales. One hundred percent, he couldn't do anything right the whole game, he popped up - what he does- with big moments, big goals, but every time he got the ball he was given it away. "He was giving it away, and he had to chase back, and to be fair to him, even when he was giving it away he was chasing it back to win it back.

"Nothing was going right for him. I don't know how he got Man of the Match because I thought there was so many better players.
