Since leaving the club, the shot stopper has made 12 appearances for his country, and looks to be the nation's current number one; that's even with the fierce competition of Liverpool's Caoimhin Kelleher breathing down his neck.
Bazunu came through the Shamrock Rovers academy, and made the journey home to watch his former side become champions once again.
Another important person in attendance last night was young Josh, the son of team manager Stephen Bradley. Josh had taken seriously ill last summer, and it was his wish to watch his father's side win the cup.

Speaking to RTÉ after the game Bradley confirmed that he had asked the players to win the league for his son when his condition became serious.
"It's an incredibly special moment. I asked the players when my son got ill, could they win this trophy for him, and they've done that for us. "It's a special moment for him, obviously for the club, for everyone involved. He's had a tough time and this is a special night for him. https://twitter.com/RTEsoccer/status/1586837267296886785?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1586837267296886785%7Ctwgr%5E05f8d38adf90b921bec850bb46146b2fac4baa51%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rte.ie%2Fsport%2Fsoccer%2F2022%2F1030%2F1332348-bradley-hails-incredibly-special-moment-at-tallaght%2F"It's all he's been talking about since he's been sick is can we go and lift the trophy for him, so I'm absolutely delighted that he's had that moment tonight. "That'll give him the lift he needs to go and fight the rest of this." Related links:
