We've been hearing for a while now that a film about free-scoring Jamie Vardy's role in Leicester's title triumph is in the offing, and according to the man himself, things appear to be moving swiftly.
"From what I've heard, the script is nearly finished, so now they have to get a director in and hire all the actors," he told BBC Breakfast.
As for which actor ends up playing the lead role, nothing is certain yet. We've seem tabloid talk of the likes of Zac Efron playing the the England striker on the big screen, and Will Ferrell threw his hat into the ring during Leicester's preseason tour of the US in the summer.
Asked who he thought might do a decent job, Vardy suggested James Corden might fancy taking the role on.
"I'm not sure but, watching him the other night, I think James Corden could do a good job. He's a funny guy as well, so could make it very enjoyable."
If the host of The Late, Late Show can find a bit of time in his hectic schedule, perhaps he's the man to fill Vardy's on-screen boots.
Yet another snub for the man born to play the role.
