Life is never dull for Joey Barton.
The former Newcastle and Manchester City midfielder should have been settling in for a nice handy summer.
Earlier today he was announced as one of TV3's new pundits for the Euros after a great season for Burnley.
The combative midfielder was the club's outstanding player as Sean Dyche's side swept through the Championship.
Ok, so he may have been snubbed for a medal by a Football League oversight at their end of season bash, but shit happens, and the issue was sorted quickly.

However, it seems as Barton doesn’t want to play in the Premier League after all, and it's understood he's heading for the Scottish premiership.
The BBC is reporting that Barton has agreed to join Rangers and will sign a two year deal with the Ibrox club in the coming 24 hours.
The 33-year-old was named his club's player of the year this month, but on Twitter this evening, it seems he's made his mind up to move north to Scotland.

Brendan Rodgers was just back in the limelight as he was appointed Celtic manager this afternoon, and along comes Joey to steal it off of him.
And Celtic fans are sure to give him a warm welcome.

Although considering Joey's Twitter is full of Bob Dylan lyrics recently, he could just be talking about a holiday to Iceland.
