Dumped out of both the FA Cup by Championship side Sheffield United and the Champions League by AC Milan in the lead up to that 3-3 draw at St. Mary's, chairman Daniel Levy is weighing up whether to relieve Conte of his duties now or wait until his contract expires this summer.
The Italian manager went as far to question the character of his own club, remarking that "Tottenham's story is this- 20 years there is this owner and they have never won something".
With the former Chelsea manager's days numbered at White Hart Lane following the rant, the North London club's hierarchy are actively searching for his successor, with ex-head coach Mauricio Pochettino emerging as the early favourite.

A player at FC Augsburg under his successor at Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel, Nagelsmann was forced to retire from the game at just 21 years of age following a severe knee injury.
The former centre half went on to make quite the impression in the coaching world though, becoming the youngest head coach in Bundesliga history at just 28 when taking over Hoffenheim, where he guided the club to the Champions League for the first time.
RB Leipzig was next up for Nagelsmann, where he brought his youthful side all the way to the Champions League semi finals, a run which ultimately saw Bayern Munich pay a record-breaking release fee of €25 million to secure his services.
