Liverpool fans on Twitter despair when they realise it’s five years since Luis Suarez joined

Whether you're a Liverpool fan or not, you can understand them still mourning the loss of Luis Suarez.

A player of such talent only comes along once in a generation, and it appears Liverpool fans still haven't come to terms with his departure to Barcelona in 2014. This day five years ago Suarez moved to Anfield from Ajax for £22.8m, and went on to score 82 goals in 132 games, winning the League Cup and almost propelling Liverpool to an unlikely title in 2014.
