Football fans can be a fickle bunch.
That's not exactly something groundbreaking to say but that fact became glaringly clear on Tuesday night as Simon Mignolet was slaughtered and praised in equal measure after a mixed game for Liverpool.
The Reds had to come from a goal behind to runaway Premier League leaders Chelsea at Anfield to snatch a point and keep some bit of life in their dwindling title challenge.
Simon Mignolet was torn asunder for his role in the Blues' opener as the questionable set-up of his wall and dodgy positioning earned the ire of more than a handful of Liverpool supporters when David Luiz's free kick found the net.

But, like every good story, there was redemption.
Chelsea were awarded a penalty with 15 minutes remaining and the league's top scorer, Diego Costa, stepped forward for what looked like the easiest chance for a Blues winner.
He took a breath.
He approached the ball.
SAVED!
And how quickly Reds fans changed their tune.
