Liverpool were hoping to recoup somewhere in the region of £26m for Divock Origi, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by Jurgen Klopp, but after a lack of interest from potential suitors, they have dropped that asking price.
They are now willing to loan the Belgian out again after he spent last season at Wolfsburg, although the move was not as productive as both clubs had hoped, as the striker only scored six league goals for the Bundesliga club.
Liverpool may now have found a buyer - or rather, a loaner - for Origi, as Turkish club Fenerbahçe have expressed interest in taking the striker on loan for the 2018/19 season.

HaberTurk claim that Fenerbahçe's Director of Football Damien Comolli will use his contacts at Liverpool to try to push through a deal. Comolli worked for Liverpool between 2010and 2012.
Origi signed for Liverpool after an impressive World Cup four years ago and is still only 23, but with Liverpool's front three very much set in stone, and Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge ready to step in when called upon, Origi's opportunities would be very limited if he were to stay at Anfield this season.
A move to the Turkish Super Liga could suit all parties.
