Liverpool fans booed Luis Suarez on his second return to Anfield with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
As the two sides warmed up for the game on Merseyside, there were boos from all around the ground as his name was read out whilst he was also jeered every time he touched the ball during the game.

Luis Suarez booed by some Liverpool fans.
Suarez went on to make little impact in the match, which Liverpool won comfortably 2-0. Atletico Madrid had Felipe sent off in the match, while Suarez picked up a booking.
There's been animosity from Liverpool supporters ever since Suarez's animated celebrations during a first-leg win for former club Barcelona where he scored, upsetting many fans of his former side.

In an interview with the
Liverpool website back in 2020, Suarez admitted the boos had upset him and he simply just wanted to win the game for the team he was playing for.
"I know some Liverpool supporters were angry with me because I celebrated a goal against Liverpool here in Camp Nou and for that I am so sad," he said.
"I accept that and I say that hopefully, they understand my situation: we were playing at home and in the Champions League semi-final."
Michael Owen on why Liverpool fans booed Luis Suarez.
BT Sport pundit Michael Owen revealed that one of the reasons Liverpool fans were reluctant to show their love for Suarez was also due to his off-the-pitch antics in the famous second leg at Anfield.
Owen said: "This game angered Liverpool fans I think.
"I was in the tunnel at half-time while he [Suarez] was throttling Andy Robertson.
"He had his hands around this throat, I was watching it all unfold and it got out into the press and I think that angered a lot of Liverpool fans."
Peter Crouch meanwhile feels that despite the jeers, there is still love for Suarez from Liverpool supporters deep down.

Liverpool won the game 2-0 after Diogo Jota headed home from Trent Alexander-Arnold's exquisite cross whilst Sadio Mane added a second. Klopp's side have topped the group with two games to spare.
