Robbie Fowler has said that he has a "big problem" with Liverpool fans who still worship Luis Suarez after the Barcelona forward celebrated scoring against his former team last week in the Nou Camp. Suarez scored the opening goal of the Champions League semi-final and didn't hold back with his celebrations. John Aldridge said the Uruguayan "behaved like a rat" with his actions and Fowler has accused the former Liverpool striker of showing the club "no respect." "I have a big problem with the way the fans love him," Fowler said on BT Sports' coverage of the second leg of the semi-final between Liverpool and Barcelona.

"He started playing well because he wanted to leave. Michael Owen did far more for this club than he ever did. His antics against Liverpool showed no respect."

Suarez spent three and a half years at Anfield and almost led Liverpool to an unlikely title victory in 2014. He scored 31 goals in 33 games, recording one of the finest individual seasons in the history of British football, before leaving for Barcelona. A year before his transfer to the Catalan side, he tried to push through a move to Arsenal. However, despite that and his celebration last week, most Liverpool fans seem to still hold the striker in high regard.
