United also revealed that seven players have been offered new contracts but have yet to sign, with Marouane Fellaini the most high-profile name.
Fellaini's deal with the Red Devils expires at the end of the month and the Belgian midfielder has been linked with a move to rivals Arsenal. It is now up to the player to accept United's terms or leave for free after the World Cup.
England U21 goalkeeper Dean Henderson has also been offered the opportunity to stay at the club, as well as Indy Boonen, Zachary Dearnley, Ethan Hamilton, Tosin Kehinde and Callum Whelan.
