The Under-23 defender will continue to work with the club's medical team
Manchester United have announced that Max Taylor has 'responded successfully' to cancer treatment after recently undergoing chemotherapy.
A brief statement
released by United on Friday afternoon explained that Taylor, who recently changed his name from Max Dunne, will work with the club's medical department for the foreseeable future as he remains in the recovery process.

"I would like to thank everyone at the club that has helped me since day one," he said. "The nurses at the Christie and HCA healthcare, plus Melissa from MacMillan Cancer Support, have all provided me with wonderful care.
"Words cannot describe how much my family has helped me through this. My mum and stepdad Matthew, my brother George, Meir and my girlfriend Lydia, and all the rest of the family, have provided invaluable support."
19-year-old Taylor, who is a member of United's Under-23 squad, signed his first professional contract at Old Trafford in January 2018.
