Salford native Callum Gribbin has been on the radars of hardcore football nerds for a while now.
His
beautiful solo goal for Manchester United’s Under-19s against Barcelona in the 2016 Otten Cup saw him gain some serious coverage in the mainstream media for obvious reasons. You can't beat four defenders and the keeper with a dribble before finishing coolly and expect no one to notice.
He had another great effort on Tuesday, but this time for the Red Devils' Under-23s as they defeated Oldham Athletic.
His lovely finish in the 77th minute was perfectly-timed, as it came just after the youngster received abuse from a fan in the crowd. He took hold of the ball and made no mistake with his finish straight into the bottom corner of the net.

It's just unfortunate that he chose that manner of celebration.
Not that we're against knee-slides or anything like that, but there were several reports from the game that he actually injured himself during the celebration.

Gribbin was taken off just three minutes after scoring the game's winner.
