Manchester United fans were all in agreement about Michael Carrick’s performance against Anderlecht

Michael Carrick could play until he's 40 judging by his performance against Anderlecht.

Carrick was the best player on the pitch as Manchester United recorded a 1-1 draw in Belgium in their Europa League quarter-final tie. Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored United's only goal on the night.

But Leander Dendoncker equalised for the home side with five minutes to go. United's away goal gives them a slight advantage for the return leg at Old Trafford, but Jose Mourinho's team will be disappointed to let their lead slip.
