One man that fits the bill as being a world class striker is Zlatan Ibrahimovic...or at least he did about five years ago.
The Swede is on the move this summer after announcing a couple of weeks ago that his time with Paris Saint-Germain in the highly-competitive French league was coming to an end.
United were almost immediately linked with Zlatan, and with the season all but over, the rumours are showing no signs of slowing.
RMC Sport claim that Zlatan's wage demands make United firm favourites to seal a deal for the former Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Ajax and pretty much everyone else striker. The report even goes as far as suggesting that United have offered him a one-year deal.
But within a couple of hours of the reports starting to do the rounds, Zlatan's agent Mino Raiolo was pouring cold water on them.
Speaking to Sky Sports news, Raiola said:
"In this world we have to accept some journalists use their imagination and make things up. The story is not factual."
We still reckon there's a good chance he'll be heading to Major League Soccer.Explore more on these topics:
