Potential new Manchester United away kit mocked up and it’s not half bad

Manchester United fans have been crying out for something to change but we reckon kit colour schemes are not exactly what they have in mind.

But while they curse the recent proclivity for draws of their side, perhaps the perfect pick-me-up would be a glimpse at a potential kit change for the 2017/18 season. OK, less of a pick-me-up and more of a welcome distraction for about 30 seconds. Kit designer Franco Carabajal threw together a suggested vintage direction for United's new away jersey and it's likely to go down a storm with supporters of the Red Devils. With a classic adidas design on the front, it combines the perfect mixture of the old and the new as the bold badge and Chevrolet logo break up an otherwise traditional look. United's current away kit is an all blue number but black and white has been used by the Old Trafford outfit to much popularity in the past. By "popularity", we mean among supporters and not the players. In the 2003/04 season, United wore a predominantly black Nike away kit, with white trim, as they claimed the FA Cup for an 11th time. Roy Keane didn't seem to be the biggest fan but, then again, that's not entirely surprising. Eric Cantona didn't seem so sure either in the 1993/94 season when Umbro gave it a whirl.
