Former Miss Croatia makes promise to fans if her country wins World Cup

She's already got a celebration in mind

Croatia reaching the semi finals of the World Cup has been one of the stories of the tournament in Qatar - and Ivana Knoll, a former Miss Croatia- has been there every step of the way, making almost as many headlines as the team themselves. Now, the model has promised fans that she will get naked if her nation can go one step further than they did in 2018, when they lost to France in the final. Ivana Knoll has been enjoying herself out in Qatar, and causing a stir by wearing some pretty revealing outfits at the games. This has been a particularly controversial given the Gulf State's conservative attitudes to how people should dress. But speaking to German media, the model revealed she plans on going several steps further.

Asked how she will react if Croatia are crowned world champions, Knoll, who was wearing a Croatian flag at the time, said: "If that happens, the flag falls… !"

Croatia defied the odds on Friday to come from behind to beat Brazil on penalties to reach the semi finals for the second World Cup in a row. Knoll was in attendance, but claimed she was stopped by security staff, who also apparently preventing her from taking photos with fans. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl_5U8pPqJK/ Knoll has attracted plenty of attention since arriving in the Middle East to follow Croatia. During their opening fixtures, Qatari locals could be seen taking photos as the former Miss Croatia winner walked down in a red and white bikini top and tight red leggings. After the images surfaced online Mohammed Hassan Al-Jefairi, a prominent Qatari entrepreneur, claimed the locals had only taken the photos to show they did not approve. However ahead of the game at the Education City Stadium on Friday, Knoll said she had been told by 'rude' security staff members that she couldn't pose for photos with fans.

"They don't allow the fans to take photos with me or pose for photos down here on the railing. I then asked them why they were so rude," she told Bild.

The model has gained an extra 1.8 million followers on Instagram ever since she first went viral and despite her encounter with the security at the Brazil game, has insisted that she has enjoyed her time in the Middle East. Related articles:
