Saudi Pro League club make offer for Mohamed Salah

Salah’s agent said last week that the player was happy at Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah has reportedly told his management that they are free to negotiate a transfer to the Saudi Pro League this summer. Salah was subbed in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea last week and cut a frustrated figure when leaving the pitch at Stamford Bridge. After creating the chance for Luis Diaz’s goal, Salah thought he had doubled the Reds’ lead only for his effort to be ruled out for offside. The remainder of the game saw glimpses of the winger however he failed to have an impact and was instead replaced by youngster Ben Doak. While walking off, Salah was visibly angry and after the game was criticised by Roy Keane. Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: “I think it’s fine if a player comes off like that but don’t keep doing it on the bench. “You see him off the pitch with his arms in the air – just sit down and shut up.” https://twitter.com/SkySportsPL/status/1690773597889892352 Since then, journalist Rudy Galetti has reported that Al Ittihad are interested in the Egyptian and have contacted both Salah and Liverpool about a transfer. Last month, Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas ruled out the possibility of a move to the Saudi Pro League, saying: “If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer.
