Lionel Messi (as you probably guessed) came runner-up with his former Barcelona teammate Neymar voted the third best footballer on the planet.
The Premier League was well represented in the top 30, with players from Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham all featuring. Perhaps unsurprisingly, PFA Player of the Year N'Golo Kante was the highest-ranked English-based player, ranked eight.
