N'Golo Kante has emerged as a top transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain. The Chelsea midfielder has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League in the last three years, helping Leicester City to a historic league title before repeating the feat at Stamford Bridge a year later.
Kante's contributions to back-to-back league title-winning campaigns for his sides have certainly not gone unnoticed. The 26-year-old was named in the PFA Team of the Year for both the 2015/16 and 2016/17 campaigns, while he was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2017.
His achievements, both as an individual and as part of a team, have attracted the interest of PSG who, according to reliable French outlet
Paris United, have prioritised the signing of the France international at the end of the current campaign. It's worth noting that Paris United has an almost impeccable record when reporting transfers involving PSG. Last summer, they emerged as one of the top outlets after being among the first to report that Neymar and Mbappe were done deals.
According to the report, the Ligue 1 side want to sign Kante as a long-term replacement for Thiago Motta in midfield. The Italian is now 35 and expected to leave the French capital at the end of the season. The report also claims that PSG sporting director Antero Henrique, the man who played a central role in recruiting both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer, has already met with Kante's agent, Karim Bouisse.

Kante is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2021 but his potential departure in the summer will do little to quell the rising tide of uncertainty surrounding the Premier League champions at present. Speculation over the future of manager Antonio Conte continues to be a discussion point, while fans are growing increasingly concerned over the futures of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
Hazard is believed to be a target for Real Madrid while Courtois is also wanted by the Spanish giants, with the Belgian goalkeeper having now entered the final 18 months of his contract.
