Arsenal's first game of the season gave their players, fans and manager plenty to think about.
Liverpool put four goals past captain-for-the-day Petr Cech at the Emirates Stadium, with a makeshift centre-back pairing of Calum Chambers and debutant Rob Holding no match for the Philippe Coutinho-inspired visitors.
The Brazilian found the back of the Arsenal net either side of the break, his first coming via an unstoppable free-kick, while it would have probably taken two goalkeepers to stop Sadio Mane's clincher.
Cech must have thought it couldn't get much worse, but the Czech Republic international would see his afternoon take another turn as he crashed his car on the way from the ground - before he had even left the car park.
Thankfully he managed to walk away unscathed, but his expensive-looking motor was looking the worse for wear.

Once people learned that the veteran was unharmed, they took it upon themselves to make bad jokes, tortured analogies and combinations of the two.
It's good to see some things haven't changed. And no, that wasn't a reference to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger being woefully underprepared for a new Premier League season.

Wenger might not spend any more money this summer, but it looks like Cech will have to fork out a bit for much-needed repairs.
