This kind of weather is when we used to love to leave our yellow derby balls out in the sun and then watch them bounce over the neighbours shed when we bog-toed them towards the makeshift goals in the yard. We doubt that the new Premier League ball can be quite so easily manipulated by the sun, but the spiel from Nike sure makes it sound all sorts of impressive.
