There was never any fear of PSV Eindhoven receiving any of the bonuses from Memphis Depay's contract this season.
Football leaks have produced the goods yet again. Shortly after giving us Luis Suarez's contract agreement to Barcelona, the site has
leaked the contract for Memphis Depay's transfer from PSV Eindhoven to Manchester United.
Although Memphis didn’t complete his move to United until June 12, 2015, the clubs signed the agreement a full month earlier.
The breakdown of how much United paid for Depay is as follows; €34 million in total. €17m was payable at signing, €8.5m on January 31, 2016 and the final instalment of €8.5m is due on July 1, 2016.
PSV also managed to lock in some additional bonuses including a €1.35m payment if the Red Devils win the Premier League, €325k if United reach the Champions League semifinal, €650k if they reach the Champions League final, and €1.35m if they win the tournament outright.
Should they sell Memphis for a profit, the Red Devils agreed to pay PSV up to €5m, or 10% of the uplift.
