The Premier League have had a reshuffle of fixtures to try and fit in postponed games, but the schedule is crazy for Man City, Arsenal and especially Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp is infamous for his outspoken views on the congestion of big games, and because his side were competing in four competitions up until the international break, they have a lot of ground to make up in a very short period of time.
Early kicks offs, new kick offs, and multiple games all jam packed into crazy-tight schedules, so hopefully the physios are being paid well, because they will have their work cut out for them.
Mikel Arteta might find himself in a position where he will be preparing his Arsenal side for 10 games in just one month, including a rare kick-off time at 7.30pm on Saturday April 20th against Wolves.
This game comes just three days after they play Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League, and although they will be hoping to win that game, progression in Europe complicates things further.
They are currently scheduled to play Tottenham Hotspur on April 28th, in a crucial game that could be vital in winning or losing the PL, but if they progress to the semi-finals of Europe, then that game will be pushed back to April 27th, and their Champions League tie will be just three days later, meaning that they will indeed play 10 games in one month.
Pep Guardiola's Man City are still in three competitions and considering that they won the treble last year, they have already been on a long and demanding journey that could catch up with them.
As things are, City are to play Brighton on Thursday April 25, with kick-off at 8pm and the game being broadcast on TV. However, Man City confirmed that the fixture will be moved to Wednesday April 24 should they reach the semi-finals of the Champions League and are requested to play on Tuesday April 30.
The problem is, they won't know if they are in the semi-finals until the end of their clash against Real Madrid on April 17th, which would only leave fans with a. week's notice to sort tickets, travel, holidays etc.
Liverpool have played the 12.30pm kick off time an incredible amount of times, much more so than any other team in the league, and Klopp doesn't let you forget it as he constantly hits out at the PL fixtures.
However, yet another one has been thrown his way as West Ham fixture will now be played on April 27 in a Saturday 12.30pm kick-off, and it only gets more hectic from there.
Due to Liverpool's progression in the Europa League, there is less time to squeeze postponed matches into the midweek slots, and now they are in a situation where they will play four consecutive PL games away from home in the space of 10 days.
